BUSINESS SEARCH & CONSULTING, INC. was initially organized in 1993 as an association of independent brokers by Chris Mok (Broker of Record/Pres.) under the name Business Search Group and was incorporated in December 2004.

Christopher P. Mok began his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) as a Certified Public Accountant. He worked with small emerging businesses, IPO’s, in addition to traditional audit and tax work. Later he joined the investment banking firm AGS Financial Corp. and was part of a team that raised over $500,000,000 in syndicating real
estate partnerships. Over the past 15 years he has been assisting organizations and people sell, acquire and/or merge ongoing closely held businesses.
